While most resorts offer Kid’s Clubs aimed at keeping your little ones entertained, not many have facilities suitable for teenage guests.   The exceptions are Malolo Island Resort, Outrigger Resort and the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa which offer programs designed specifically for teenagers.

The accommodation at these resorts caters perfectly for families who may require a little extra space, appeasing fickle teenagers who like the privacy of their own room.

Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort

The Outrigger is where a traditional Fijian village meets five star luxury!  Situated in the heart of Fiji’s Coral Coast, the resort is set on a white sand beach, among 40 acres of tall palms and lush tropical landscaped gardens.

The Outrigger’s teen program (ages 13+) includes activities include spear-making, Sigatoka Sand Dunes adventure, Tavuni Hill Fort tour, Bebe Hill hike, and Enchanted Pool hike. Also included is a student exchange trip to a local Fijian high school. The program is designed to be culturally enriching, educational, interactive and fun! There is a nominal free for the teen activity program.

Family accommodation options are varied.  There are 207 deluxe rooms and suites, most with sweeping ocean views, and 47 traditional thatched bures.  All rooms and bures feature air conditioning, Plasma flat screen TV’s with satellite channels (plus “pay per view” movies), Play Station consoles, refrigerator, tea & coffee making facilities, robes, in-room safe, 24 hour room service, mini bars, broadband internet and balconies or patios.

Khails Club Lounge – Malolo Island Resort

Malolo Island Resort – Khails Club

Malolo is an intimate resort with impeccable guest services. Perfect for families, guests can fill their day with a myriad of activities or simply unwind and do nothing at all.

Malolo’s Khails Club is just for teens (ages 13-18 yrs). The spacious, modern, air conditioned lounge features a table tennis, games, huge bean bag lounges, satellite TV and free WiFi.

Malolo offers four family bures which can sleep up to 7 people.   The 2 x double storey, two bedroom bures feature 20 sqm verandahs, one bedroom with King sized bed, ensuite bathroom plus  main bathroom accessible from the living area, plus 3 single beds (suitable for children) in the spacious living area.  The 2 x single level family bures comprise 2 bedrooms, each with a King sized bed and an ensuite bathroom (accessed through the bedrooms) plus 3 single beds (suitable for children) and a spacious verandah.

InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa – Teen Trekkers

The InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa is located on beautiful Natadola Beach on Fiji ‘s main island of Viti Levu. Perfect for swimming, snorkeling and surfing, Natadola Bay has been referred to as “one of the world’s best beaches”.
