Key Booking Conditions
  • A $250 non-refundable commitment payment per adult is required and will be applied to the total cost of your booking.
  • Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
  • Cancellations within 60 days incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Prices are subject to currency fluctuations until final payment.
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Bookings are subject to the availability of air, land and sea services at the time of the booking request. All quotes are subject to change until final confirmation of the booking request is made in writing.

All pricing is subject to fare changes and currency fluctuations, with or without notice, and cannot be guaranteed until payment is made in full.

A Commitment Payment of $250 per adult is required at the time of confirmation and is contributed toward the final cost of your booking.

The Commitment Payment is non-refundable and non-transferable and covers our costs to have serviced you in the event you cancel your booking.

This deposit is in addition to any other payments that may be required by the resort, supplier or airline. These will be advised at the time of booking.

Some resorts require additional deposits and these will be advised at the time of confirmation.

The balance of payment is due 60 days prior to departure, or earlier as advised by your destination specialist.

If no payment or notification has been received after 7 days, it will automatically be assumed that the booking is to be cancelled.

If the booking is made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.

Payments processed in foreign currency, being a currency other than the original card holder’s country of issue, may incur a currency conversion fee. Please refer to your financial institution for applicable fees.

Airfares are subject to the respective airlines’ fare rules and conditions and may be non-refundable and non-changeable once paid for.

Please check with us for additional details relating to the airfare rules applicable to your booking.

We reserve the right to charge a fee of $250 per transaction for amendments to confirmed itineraries in addition to fees charged by the resort, airline/s or supplier.

Should you or any member of your travelling party cancel, you must notify us in writing.

We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of $250 per adult to administer your cancellation and/or retain any commissions, retainers, gifts or financial incentives earned under this contract, or both.

These cancellation fees are in addition to any cancellation fee charged by the resort, airline/s or any other supplier.

Cancellations inside 60 days of departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Cancellation fees apply regardless of the reason for cancellation. Travel insurance may provide cover for certain cancellation circumstances, subject to the policy terms and conditions.

When you pay us, we pay our suppliers on your behalf. Our suppliers are often located overseas.

Where a refund may be applicable, we request funds to be directed back to us from that supplier, which are then returned to you.

There may be fees, currency fluctuations and delays which impact the amount we receive on your behalf, along with delays in those funds arriving in our bank account.

Fiji Island Holidays is not responsible for these delays, fees or currency fluctuations and will not make payment until such time as funds are received by us.

Fiji Island Holidays reserves the right to adjust the price of a tour package up to the date of departure even though full payment may have been made.

This would only be done due to factors outside our control including, but not limited to:

  • Airfare increases
  • Currency fluctuations
  • Hotel price increases
  • Government taxes or levies
  • Increases in services forming part of the package

We also reserve the right to amend the itinerary when considered necessary due to changes beyond our control.

Due to contractual obligations with our suppliers, we cannot and do not itemise package prices.

Your total package price includes all tour components together with research, planning and co-ordination costs.

Fiji Island Holidays pays its Fiji suppliers in Fiji Dollars.

All Fiji Island Holidays prices are subject to variation due to fluctuations in the rate of exchange.

Variations on our listed prices will be based on the foreign exchange rate available to Fiji Island Holidays at the time the holding deposit is paid and again at the time final payment is made.

Our exchange rate at the date of deposit is only taken into account for the amount of the deposit that is actually paid to the overseas supplier.

You can lock in the exchange rate of the foreign currency components of your booking by paying the balance of your booking in full.

Travel insurance is vital for protection against high medical costs, loss or theft of luggage together with a number of other risks.

We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of paying your deposit to cover any payments you make towards your booking.

Insurance may be taken out at any time prior to departure, however arranging cover as early as possible ensures protection against cancellation fees or other unforeseen events that may occur before travel.

If you choose not to purchase travel insurance through Fiji Island Holidays, you acknowledge that you have been advised of the importance of obtaining adequate travel insurance for your trip.

Fiji Island Holidays will not be held responsible for any costs, losses, damages or expenses incurred by travellers who choose to travel without adequate travel insurance, including but not limited to medical expenses, cancellation costs, travel delays, loss of luggage or other unforeseen events.

It is essential, and it is your responsibility, to ensure that your passport has at least six months validity beyond your return date to Australia.

You will be denied boarding if these requirements are not met.

It is your responsibility to ensure:

  • All travel requirements are met.
  • Passport names exactly match airline ticket names.
  • Correct information is provided to us at the time of booking.

Fiji Island Holidays will not be responsible for any loss or expense due to the failure of its clients to obtain necessary travel documents or provide correct information.

Baggage allowance varies from airline to airline and in some instances the airfare you have purchased may not include the cost of checked baggage.

Please check with your destination specialist regarding baggage allowances relevant to your travel arrangements.
