Bookings

Bookings are subject to availability of air, land and sea services at the time of the booking request. All quotes are subject to change until final confirmation of the booking request is made in writing.

Deposits and balance of payments

A Commitment Payment of $250 per adult is required at the time of confirmation and contributed toward the final cost of your booking. The Commitment Payment is non refundable, non-transferable and covers our costs to have serviced you in the event you cancel your booking.

Some resorts require additional deposits, and these will be advised at time of confirmation.  Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to departure or earlier as advised by your destination specialist. If no payment or notification has been received after 7 days, it will be automatically assumed that the booking is to be cancelled. If the booking is made 60 days or less prior to departure, full payment is required immediately.

Payments processed in foreign currency (currency other than the original card holders’ country of issue) may incur a currency conversion fee. Please refer to your financial institution for applicable fees. Prices featured are based on the current daily rate of exchange, final payments and statements may differ from the amount shown due to currency conversion fluctuations. Please refer to your financial institution for further information.

Cancellations and amendments

We reserve the right to charge a fee of $250.00 per transaction for amendments to confirmed itineraries in addition to fees charged by the resort, airline/s or supplier.

Should you or any member of your travelling party cancel, you must notify us in writing.  We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of $250.00 per adult to administer your cancellation and or retain any commissions, retainers, gifts or financial incentives earnt under this contract or both.

These cancellation fees are in addition to any cancellation fee charged by the resort, the airline/s or any other supplier. Cancellations inside 60 days of departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

When you pay us, we pay our suppliers on your behalf. Our suppliers are often offshore. When a refund might be applicable, we request funds to be directed back to us from that supplier which in turn are returned to you.

There may be fees and currency fluctuations which impact on the amount we receive on your behalf along with delays in those funds arriving in our bank account.
Fiji Island Holidays are not responsible for these delays, fees or currency fluctuations and will not make payment until such time as funds are received by us.

Amendments to prices and itinerary

Fiji Island Holidays reserves the right to adjust the price of a tour package up to the date of departure, even though full payment may have been made. This would only be done due to factors which were outside our control and include such things as airfare increases (up to the maximum charged by the airline), increases due to currency fluctuations, hotel price increases, government taxes, levies or any other increase in services that are part of the package price. We also reserve the right to amend the itinerary when considered necessary due to any changes that are beyond our control.
